Om foredraget
In the last 20 years, modern Cryptology has surpassed its classical image that it is an applied mathematical discipline for studying secret writing and message hiding techniques. Numerous algorithms, techniques, and protocols have been invented, such as zero-knowledge proofs, incremental and updatable cryptography, homomorphic encryption, blockchain, anonymity preserving techniques for financial transactions in the blockchain, to name a few. In my talk, I will list the recent research developments in Cryptology, highlight the core mathematical techniques they use, what problems they address and how those developments will be applied in future applications.
